Parental Support

At Rita’s Helping Hand, we understand that raising youth comes with unique challenges—and we’re here to support parents every step of the way. Our parental support services empower families through:

  • Workforce Development: Equipping parents with career-building tools and training.

  • Community Resources: Connecting families to vital support systems.

  • Mental Wellness Coaching: Supporting emotional resilience and healthy family dynamics.

  • College and Financial Aid Guidance: Helping parents navigate the college application process, FAFSA, scholarships, and more.

Together, we’re building stronger families and brighter futures.

Rita's Youth
Initiative

Rita’s Youth Initiative is dedicated to empowering youth and their families through education, employment, and emotional wellness. Our mission is to create a supportive pathway for young people to thrive by providing access to academic support, job readiness training, housing stability, and wraparound services.

Through collaboration with families, and community partners, we offer mentorship, tutoring, mental health resources, and guidance on college and career planning. We also support parents through workforce development, financial literacy, and tools to navigate their child’s educational journey.

At the heart of Rita’s Youth Initiative is a commitment to uplifting the whole family—because when families are supported, youth succeed.
