This organization was born from my personal journey—becoming a mother at 14, married and raising three children by 18. Life taught me hard lessons early, but it also taught me how to persevere, lean into faith, and never lose sight of purpose. Those experiences sparked a deep desire to uplift others who are walking similar paths—those who just need someone to believe in them, support them, and meet them where they are.Rita’s Helping Hand was created to do exactly that.We serve individuals and families in low to moderate-income communities by providing wraparound support services—from education and job training to mental health resources, housing assistance, and youth programs. We believe that with the right tools, encouragement, and faith, anyone can rise above their circumstances and begin walking in the life God designed for them.Our approach is different because it’s personal. We don’t just offer services—we build relationships. We walk alongside those we serve, reminding them of their worth and helping them rediscover hope.
